Choosing a Location
Gardens, parks, open fields, forests and lakeshores all photograph differently. Tell us the mood you are after, whether green and natural, golden and open, or urban, and we will suggest places that suit it, including any entry fees or permissions to know about.
The Best Time of Day
Early morning and the last two hours before sunset give the softest, most flattering light. Midday sun creates harsh shadows and squinting, so we plan around it whenever we can.
Group and Chama Photos
Large groups need a bit of planning. We arrange people so every face is visible, and take several frames of each pose so nobody is caught mid-blink.
